When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
While walking down a street in Portland, Oregon, I heard lively music that called to me. I knocked on the door of the house in which the music came from. There was a lovely service going on and beautiful kirtan. My son and I were warmly welcomed. This was 6 years ago. Though, I have considered this my introduction, I was actually introduced to Krsna Consciousness three times before. Once as a young child, again as a teen-ager while looking for a vegetarian restaurant, and later, as a young adult, I had purchased a book from a devotee.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?
I am currently a Sunday school teacher at the Temple. I would like to further my work with children and encourage programs to introduce families to Krsna Consciousness. It would be nice also to distribute children's books. My first introduction to Krsna Consciousness was as a child. I was given a sticker of Lord Jagannath. I have it to this day and it is nice to reflect upon that early moment of introduction into Krsna Consciousness. The stories and images of Krsna would stick with young children. Through children, I feel we can reach out to others also.
