Why when we can our body is back and forth?

Hare Krishna,

I can say that i'm new in KC.

Maybe my question it can be strange, but i realize that when i chant some minutes after on the chanting my body is back and forth. Why that happen? What is the meaning if this have a meaning.

And also we need to chant very straight without moving?

Thank you

    Hare Krsna dear Mataji,

    PAMHO.

When we chant and our body rocks back and forth, it is good. We neednt be absolutely still while chanting, there is no such rule. Typically, if you remember your school days, when we would try to learn or memorise something, our body would rock. It is a sign of concentration. The chakra and kundalini mentioned earlier, I know nothing about - so cannot comment.

What I do know is - people even sit facing a blank wall, so that there are no disturbances, and they can chant with concentration. The idea is one shoudl concentrate and be able to hear one's voice saying the mahamantra for effective chanting.

Mataji, its very encouraging to see your posts - it signifies your sincerity and your progress. You may not know a lot of philosophy, but your questions tell me that you are very sincere, therefore sure to make progress, provided you manage to stay away from pride.

    Haribol,

    Your servant,

    Rashmi

All glories to sri guru and gauranga
Good prabhu Ji that is excellent plz keep on chanting
U see we have seven chakras in our body and one of them is kundalini when the body moves back and forth that means probably that chakra is activated .. Keep on chanting
Plz consult some one else who know about this matter very clearly as this chakra is very important and if not controlled it can lead mental instability ..
