The son becomes the father

A nice South Indian gentleman, Suresh, and his family approached my book table a couple of months ago and bought Krishna Dharma's thick
Mahabharata from me. We exchanged numbers. I send favorable people some Krishna conscious quotes.

Recently, to my surprise, I received a text from Suresh saying that his 12-year-old son Sreyas is on a school break for the summer and has
read the Mahabharata three times cover to cover. Sreyas kept asking Suresh for more books about Krishna. Suresh suggested to his son that
he should read the Ramayan next. So Suresh contacted me and asked for the Ramayana.

I suggested that Suresh buy his intelligent and pious son the entire Bhagavatam set, which includes Ram lila and lilas of all other
incarnations. It took some convincing on my part, and Suresh said he will talk to his son and get back to me. In the meantime I was praying
to Srila Prabhupada that Suresh will buy the set.

A few minutes later, Suresh texted, saying that his son is eager to get the books and start reading. Suresh wanted to meet me right away
and get the set for his son.

I told Suresh that in a couple of hours I would be at my book table at the mall. Suresh and his son showed up 15 minutes before me at the
outdoor parking lot. We met, and they immediately put the set in the trunk of their car. The boy was so happy.

My gurudeva, Devamrita Swami, often says that we should pray that people are fortunate to run into book distributors again and again and
that they become more and more fortunate by receiving more and more and more of Srila Prabhupada's books. So we should start cultivating
favorable people and distribute sets of Srila Prabhupadas books to them.

I hope that by the devotees' blessings this boy will become a nice
devotee and buy a Caitanya-caritamrita set next.

A picture of Suresh and his son receiving the books is attached.

Sastrakrit Dasa
