NAVADWIP DHAM.........THE GAURALAND

Navadwip dham is actually a compartment in Vrindavan...It is actually the Nava Vrindavan (New Vrindavan). It is created by Vrajeshwari Radharani to attract the attention of Sri Krishna. That is why in Navadwip, Krishna is in the mood of Radharani...topmost devotion and unlimited compassion. Navadwip dham is actually Vrindavan dham + unlimited mercy of Radharani.Such a merciful dham with so much of love and compassion can never be found anywhere. However,we, as pilgrims, what should be our mentality?what should we do? what we shouldn't?

1. Never ever think that it is another mundane place...In Navadwip dham mahatmya,Bhaktivinod Thakur says that in Kali yuga, all the dhams become weak except for Navadwip dham. The moment you step in Navadwip dham, remember you are in the holiest place in the world.

2. Don't judge anybody. The local people or rickshaw wallas may look dirty but they can sing mahamantra in such a nectarine way much better than any one of us...it is the blessing for the inhabitants of Navadwip.

3. Be generous. What is there for us to be so calculative? If you can't afford much, just get some fruits for the deities when you visit the temples.Never go empty handed...You won't find many beggars in the temples of Navadwip...except for some temples...if you are worried that they may misuse your money, give them food or clothes....Give something.Remember whether they are beggars or dogs are cats...they are much better than us because they are dhamvaasis.

4. Whichever place you go, remember Mahaaprabhu would have done sankirtan there......remain humble and submissively pray for the mercy of Nityananda Prabhu to bless you with the attraction and attachment to the holy names....Pray so that you will someday be able to chant the holy name without offense and get the taste of holy name...

5.Just keep in your mind that you are one of the most fortunate souls who is gifted to pay a visit to the most glorified place in the three worlds.....SRI NAVADWIP DHAM.....
