I just needed to be clear why killing a snake is acceptable in Vaishnava tradition. Is it contextual or acceptable in all situation?

Also, why, if snakes are not worthy of living, are they created and now exist in the first place?

I'm not trying to challenge you or anything. I'm trying to understand certain things.

Thank you.

  • The poisonous  snake deserves to be killed by humans, only if attack, or if  in any way represents high risk of attack.

The poisonous snake should not be killed, if have desire to escape and leave the living area.

One can kill such snake, only if there is no other safe options of getting it out.

On another side, Brahmanas and Vaishnavas should cultivate non violence, even being faced with attack.

Based on that, Vaishnava should not kill even mosquito.

Anyway, one should not criticize advanced Vaishnavas , because whats externally seems sinful, it can be saintly act.
