  • vrinda means: group, swarm, heap...Therefore in this context Gaura bhakta vrinda means :

the group of bhaktas or devotees who are followers of Lord Gauranga.  Having on mind that word vrinda never represent a small groupe of something or someone,  but rather a large group like of thousands or even millions.

Similar to that, Tulasi sometimes is called Vrinda, because it has many leaves.

    • hare krishna prabhu ji as the concept of mantra cleared..

please also let me know when to cut down the tulsi leaves and how to use in prasdam and the mantra of prasadam as i am the beginner and offer the prasadam in morning as we make the veg one time in the day which goes for whole day.  is it right or there is some mistake due my misunderstanding.

I just offer the food to god in morning and say only the mahamantra three times and keep a plate and glass of water for just 10 minutes and after that the whole water and veg is mixed in the remained and go for meal with that whole day.

      please guide me ..........Hare krishna

      • Tulsi leaves are not to be cut, but one should wait for leaves to  naturally fall down and collect it for offering.

Small correction prabhuji - Srivas pandit is Narada Muni. Adi means and. Actually ityadi means etc. So what it means is Srivas and other Gaur Bhaktas. THerefore, Srivas Adi Gaur Bhakta Vrinda.

I hope it is clear now.
