Instructions for installing books into your iPod / iPhone:
First you have to "jailbroken" your iPhone or iPod touch. This allows you to install custom applications on the device. Use either:
iNdependence: http://code.google.com/p/independence/
Ziphone: http://www.ziphone.org/
PwnageTool: http://iphone-dev.org/ (recommended, as this is the safest method)
Once "jailbroken," the installer application will probably be installed automatically. If not, follow these instructions on how to install it: http://iphone.nullriver.com/beta/.
Now, go to Settings -> General -> Auto-Lock: Never
(to temporarily disable the sleep-mode of the iPhone/iPod-touch, so it doesn't fall asleep while downloading the rather large books). Launch the Installer.app on the device. Add this repository to your Installer "Sources": http://iskcondesiretree.com/iPhone/installer/ipod.xml
Now, navigate to the "Install" list and select "Productivity." Install the "Books" application.
Navigate to the "Install" list and select "eBooks." Choose your desired book and follow the on screen instructions. Nectar of Devotion, Nectar of Instruction, Brahma Samhita, Srimad-Bhavagatam, and Caitanya Caritamrita are available. The install could take quite a while and it might look like the device has "frozen." Don't worry, just let it do its thing and it will complete eventually.
Start the "Books" application and read your book.
